Main Line Art
Center, Haverford, PA (Glen Brown, juror) Converge, ceramic, 2010
This variation of
Converge is sited
outdoors and is composed of 912 modular bricks in 211 variations and 9
permutations. The site-specific installation is informed by the Mainline, an
affluent suburban region of Philadelphia built along the former Pennsylvania
Railroad. The semi-emergent outcome of the installation converges both inner
city structures, the railroad and the suburbs into a single landscape.
