Collaborative Artist Statement, NYCAMS,
NYC May 18 - June 7, 2007
Newspaper, tape, and rope have been
transformed from tools and information into an experimental
collaboration. Prior to beginning work on this project, a system
of rules and limitations was loosely agreed upon. The parameters
consisted of working sculpturally with the New York Times over a
period of 21 days and found materials. The product is a
conceptually based installation focused on interactivity,
globalization, and the conflict found within these ideas. |
